What Is ClearDir?
ClearDir is a free web directory that indexes 798 websites across 22 organised categories. We built ClearDir because finding specific types of websites should be simple and direct, without advertising, algorithmic noise, or paid-placement bias. Every site in the directory has been submitted and reviewed before appearing in a category listing.
How It Works
Websites are submitted by their owners, assigned to the most relevant category, and listed alphabetically within that category. ClearDir does not charge for listings, does not sell featured placements, and does not allow automated bulk submissions. The result is a directory that reflects actual, active websites across a wide range of subject areas.
Adding Your Site
Submitting your site to ClearDir is free and takes under a minute. Select the category that best matches your site's primary topic, enter your URL and an optional title and description, and your listing goes live immediately. If you leave the description blank, ClearDir will attempt to auto-fetch a summary from your site. There are no fees, no approval queues, and no ongoing obligations.
